1 Litre Of Tears

This beautifully moving drama is based on the real-life struggles of a 15-year-old girl named Aya who suffered from an incurable disease, but lived life to the fullest until her death at 25. The script is based on the diary Aya kept writing until she could no longer hold a pen. The book that later followed entitled “One Litre of Tears” has sold over 1.1 million copies in Japan alone.

Fifteen year old Ikeuchi Aya was just a normal girl, soon to be high school student and daughter of a family who works at a shop that makes tofu. As time passed, unusual things started happening to Aya lately. She started falling down often and walks in a strange way. Her mother Shioka, takes Aya to see the doctor, and he informs Shioka that Aya has spinocerebellar degeneration – a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind in the least. How will Aya react when told about her disease? And how will Aya live from now on?

This story is really an inspirational. I never thought that I’ll cry while viewing every episodes. I like her the way she acts; she never thought that Disability is a problem of her future but she fought! She go out to their house and act like a normal person. Eventhough she’s been backbite by many people, she tried to forget/act nothing happens.  May she Rest In Peace!

Boyle wows Talent Judges again!

Surprise singing sensation Susan Boyle made a new television appearance Sunday, showcasing once again her soaring voice — but refusing to compromise on the frumpy look that made her an Internet sensation.

The shy church volunteer gave a rousing, but occasionally nervous, performance on the “American Idol”-style show “Britain’s Got Talent,” with a version of the song “Memory” from the musical “Cats.”

Members of the public voting in a telephone poll picked her as the best of eight performers who appeared Sunday, meaning she will sing again in the contest’s final next Saturday.

Flashing a broad smile, Boyle danced in delight as results were announced and said had relished the chance to perform. “Fantastic, absolutely fantastic,” she said. “What pressure? I’ve really enjoyed myself tonight.”

Wearing a plum colored beaded dress — and a touch more makeup than during her last performance — but with the same unruly shock of hair, Boyle overcame early jitters to deliver a powerful vocal.

Producers said the 47-year-old’s appearance was being posted on the Internet almost immediately, after about 60 million people watched her last performance via YouTube.

In her first performance last month, judges who’d raised eyebrows at Boyle’s dowdy image were won over by her bold voice and surprisingly confident performance of “I Dreamed a Dream” from the musical “Les Miserables.” The sometimes awkward looking Scot won praise from celebrities, including Oprah Winfrey and Demi Moore, and even won a name check in her favorite cartoon “The Simpsons.”

On Sunday, the show’s judges and audience rose to their feet to applaud, but those posting comments to the Twitter Web site appeared divided. While some hailed her performance, others appeared underwhelmed.

Bookmaker William Hill has made her a runaway favorite to win on May 30.

Contestants are competing to perform at Britain’s annual Royal Variety Show — attended by members of the royal family — and win a 100,000 pound ($159,000) prize.

The singer, who lives alone with her cat Pebbles in one of Scotland’s poorest regions, said before Sunday’s performance that she wouldn’t transform her appearance. “I just want people to see me for who I am, and do my best at singing the song, that’s what I am focusing on,” she said.

Boyle, who says she’s never been kissed, grew up the youngest of nine children in Blackburn, a community of 4,750 people 20 miles (32 kilometers) west of Edinburgh, in Scotland, and a district blighted by unemployment and crime. She suffered learning difficulties as a child and was bullied by other children.

As an adult, she’s struggled for work but had been a regular on her local karaoke circuit and performed in church choirs.

In an interview with The Associated Press at her home last month, she said the death of her mother had inspired her to enter the TV talent show.

“I wanted to show her I could do something with my life,” Boyle said.

How to Manage your time in College

No time to study? Or don’t know how to budget your time? College Life is really a busy life. We can’t deny that things will not be done right away. It’s really hectic. Now, let me share to you ‘How to Manage your time’ courtesy from eHow.com.

 

Instructions

 

Step 1

Buy a calendar with large squares for writing extensive notes about your daily obligations, including your job and class schedules. Keep a small organizer or notepad with you to write down items to add to your calendar at home.

Step 2

Read all class syllabi thoroughly at the start of the term. Mark down the dates when assignments are due and exams are held for each course on your calendar.

Step 3

Determine which courses require a large amount of reading. Keep novels or other textbooks with you to read at work, on the bus or on breaks between classes.

Step 4

Make a list of any research projects or problem-solving assignments you’ll be doing and map out a study schedule on your calendar so you won’t be caught off guard when work is due.

Step 5

Find out about and mark on your calendar all social and academic club events or sporting and varsity events you will be required to attend.

Step 6

Take into account long weekends and vacations and mark them on your calendar. Decide which projects or assignments you can work on at home and on vacation.

Step 7

Allot time for exercise during your week, as a way to relieve stress.

Step 8

Decide how much time you can give to yourself, or to your boyfriend or girlfriend.

Blogger: Unlucky! :(

My God! I really don’t know what’s happening. Why? Why? Why I’m not lucky at Blogger? Everytime that I want to add some gadgets, the dashboard will pop not the availbale gadgets.

This really happen to me twice already. Even I refreshed our PC, nothing happens. There is one day it happens, so happy to that day! But afterwards, I failed again. It doesn’t work! So, I just post blogs not more in editing the whole blog.

I’m really super duper unlucky at Blogger! Not at WordPress. My first blog. Promise!

Mga Nobela ng Precious Hearts Romances

Una sa lahat pasensiya na po kayo kung tagalog ang ginamit ko, kasi naman ay para ito sa mga Pinoy na na-aadik sa mga nobela ng Precoius Hearts Romances.

Ang PHR ay isang libro na iba’t ibang mga titles at writers na gumagawa. Isa itong Romance Pocket Book. Kikiligin kayo sa mga bawat eksena.

Dahil nga sa mga nahihiligan ng aking pinsan na magbasa ng iba’t ibang nobela – ma-english o ma-tagalog man, binabasa talaga niya. Dahil din sa ako ay bumabasa ng mga nobela, lagi akong humihiram sa kanya. Ng mabasa ko na ang PHR, talagang kikiligin ka.

Ang unang binasa ko ay “My Cheating Heart”  na isinulat ni Martha Cecilia. Ako ay humanga sa kagalingan. Ikaw ay madadala talaga sa mga pangyayari.

  Si Miles ang first crush ni Nadia. Si Miles din ang first love niya at natitiyak niyang si Miles pa rin ang huli niyang mamahalin. They were childhood sweethearts hanggang sa dumating  sa buhay nila si Arlyn. Nahati ang atensyon ni Miles. Kalimitan ay ipinagtatangol nito ang iyaking si Arlyn sa haragang si Nadie.
  Then cam the Announcement that shocked Nadia. Mag-on na sina Miles at Arlyn. Pinili niya ang lumayo upang makalimot. Subaliit aakalain ba niyang mabibigyan siya ng pagkatataong mapasakanya si Miles nang hindi matuloy ang kasal nito kay Arlyn.
  Paano? Pipikutin niya si Miles kasabwat ang ina ng binata!
But would Miles forgive her?

Pati na rin ang Mama ko, na-aadict na sa pagbasa. Mas pinili niyang magbasa kaysa matulog. LOL:)). Habit naman kasi niya matulog tuwing hapon pero ngayon, umiba ang inip ng hangin.

Boys Over Flowers: Happy Ending?

We knew already that Taiwain was the first country to make a version of Manga Series, Hana Yori Dango. Followed by Japan and now, Korean! My God it’s really cool especially the characters. They are all handsome . Honestly I didn’t watch the Japanese version, idk. After how many days watching it in front of the TV, is it really a happy ending?

OMGosh! I’m not satisfied with the ending. Jun Pyo(Lee Min-Ho) and Jan Di(I forgot her real name) end up as GF and BF. Only Jun Pyo proposed to her after that the other members of F4, Ji Hoo(Kim Hyun-Jeong), Yi Jeung(Kim Bum) and Woo Bin(Kim Joon), appeared telling them they disagree the proposal because the couple didn’t told them but it is only a joke. The question, is that really a happy ending? My God!

How about Ga Eul(Jan Di’s bestfriend) and her lovelife with Yi Jeung? Many love their team-up but they didn’t become GF and BF. The family of Jan Di, they didn’t let us see their happy family. The creative hands of Yi Jeung, is it ok? Honestly, I thought Jan Di and Jun Pyo will get married but that never happens. It end up looking at the sunset with their happy faces. WTF?! It really makes me dissapointed
